HARDENED STEEL
Every Vinchi timepiece is crafted from premium 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, known for its resilience and refined finish. While this material traditionally measures around 200HV on the Vickers hardness scale, we take it a step further. Through our proprietary surface hardening process, we elevate its hardness to nearly 1200HV — a dramatic increase in scratch resistance.
THE DIAL
The Vitruvian features a meticulously finished lacquered dial, crafted to evoke depth, elegance, and timeless sophistication. Each dial begins as a brass blank, carefully coated with layers of high-gloss enamel, then cured in a high-temperature kiln to seal in its radiant finish. The result: a rich, glass-like surface that captures light from every angle.
THE HANDS
The multi-faceted diamond-cut hands slope upon either side and then taper off to a flat plane with brushed finishing, creating a subtle visual effect that is pleasing even when not consciously registered.
THE CASE
Engineered from a single block of 316L stainless steel, the Vitruvian’s case is a study in strength and elegance. Enhanced by our proprietary surface hardening treatment, it offers increased resistance against everyday scratches and wear — allowing it to age gracefully, not quickly.
THE BEZEL
A refined interplay of brushed and polished finishes gives the Vitruvian’s fixed bezel its quiet sophistication. The sunburst brushing across the top surface catches light with subtle movement, while a sleek mirror-polished chamfer along the outer edge adds a tasteful touch of brilliance — a perfect balance of restraint and refinement.
THE CROWN
Positioned at 3 o’clock, the screw-down crown offers both function and finesse. A finely polished chamfer distinguishes the coin-edged grip from the outer face, which is proudly embossed with the Vinchi emblem — a subtle signature of craftsmanship and identity. Designed for ease of use and aesthetic harmony, it completes the case with intentional detail.
THE MOVEMENT
At the heart of the Vitruvian beats the dependable and refined Miyota 9015 automatic movement — a caliber celebrated for its precision, slim profile, and robust engineering. Oscillating at 28,800 beats per hour, this Japanese-made movement delivers smooth, sweeping motion and a 42-hour power reserve, ensuring your watch keeps pace with you, day after day.
THE BRACELET
Crafted from 316L stainless steel and tapering elegantly from 20mm to 16mm, the Vitruvian’s bracelet is a fusion of strength and artistry. Its fully articulating, solid links draw inspiration from the flowing geometry and human-centered proportions found in Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpieces, bringing both structure and grace to the wrist.
